Hey #225: Introducing The Second Opinion Session
If you’ve done the work, why are the results still missing?
Imagine taking medicine for years and seeing no improvement.
Eventually, you stop asking, “Should I take more of it?” and start asking, “Am I treating the right thing?”
That’s the moment a second opinion becomes valuable.
Not because the patient isn’t trying. Because the diagnosis itself may need another look.
The same thing can happen in personal growth.
Often the issue isn’t that you’re not working hard enough. Nor is it that you’re unaware.
The issue is something quieter: you’ve become highly skilled at solving a problem that isn’t actually the problem.
When that happens, every new solution gets applied to the wrong thing. And so the problem persists.
Over the last few years, I’ve become increasingly interested in people who have done the work and are still stuck.
Not the people who are avoiding themselves. Not the people looking for shortcuts.
The opposite.
The people who have spent years trying to understand themselves. People whose effort is undeniable, commitment is real, and willingness is unquestionable.
They’ve read the books. Taken the courses. Worked with therapists and coaches. Journaled. Reflected. Built self-awareness. Learned the language of personal growth.
They know their triggers, their fears, their coping mechanisms, their childhood influences, their attachment styles, their nervous system responses. With extraordinary precision.
And yet, patterns remain unchanged. The same situations keep repeating in different versions.
That stuckness makes one question difficult to ignore:
If you’ve been putting this much effort into change, why are the results still missing?
The answer isn’t necessarily more awareness. Not another insight. Not another breakthrough. Not another layer.
The answer lies in sitting with these uncomfortable questions:
What if the issue wasn’t effort?
What if the issue wasn’t awareness?
What if the issue was the diagnosis?
What if the problem being worked on wasn’t actually the problem keeping the pattern alive?
Because if that’s true, then no amount of effort can compensate for it.
You can spend years applying the right solution to the wrong problem. And from the outside, it looks like nothing is working.
Not because you’re incapable of change. Because you’re trying to solve something that isn’t truly in the way.
I know how soul-crushing that place can become because I spent years there myself.
When I eventually found my way out, I noticed something interesting. The people I was most drawn to work with were often the people I recognized from my own journey.
They were thoughtful. Self-aware. Deeply committed to growth. And still stuck.
The more I worked with them, the more one thing became clear:
Many of them didn’t need another solution. They needed a second opinion on the problem itself.
That realization eventually led me to create something new.
Introducing the Second Opinion Session.
The Second Opinion Session is a one-time diagnostic conversation for people who have already done meaningful inner work and still find themselves stuck in recurring problems they can’t seem to move through.
Enough with the search for another tool, another framework, another strategy, or another technique.
Let’s come back to the basics:
Have you been solving the right problem to begin with?
In the Second Opinion Session, we’ll look at what previous healing work may have missed, whether the root issue was misdiagnosed, and what might actually be keeping the pattern alive underneath everything else.
The goal isn’t to question you. But to question the diagnosis.
The Second Opinion Session is now open 🤩
After quietly working on this for the last few weeks, I’m deeply excited to finally share it with you. And I can’t wait to have unexpected-yet-much-needed conversations with you — especially the ones that make the invisible visible and unexplainable explainable.
The Second Opinion Session is donation-based. You decide what the session was worth and contribute afterwards only if you found it valuable.
You can learn all details and book your session here.
And if someone came to mind while reading this, feel free to send it their way.
Whether you book a session or not, thank you for following the breadcrumbs over the last few weeks.
This is where they were leading 🫶
Keep looking deeper,
Ashi
